Every home here is fully engineered in cold-formed steel, with complete blueprints ready to permit today. Pick one as drawn or make it yours. Each design is fully customizable, and we handle the blueprints and engineering, all ready for approvals.
Barnhaus 101
A modern barn in dark porcelain and thermowood: double-height living, a glass gable, a first-floor guest suite, and a heated attic.
Barnhaus 102
The 101 plan over a finished lower level with gym, theater, lounge, sauna, and a fifth bedroom suite, in bronze porcelain with a thermowood gable.
Barnhaus 103
A single-level modern barn. An asymmetric roof rises over 23 feet above a living room that opens to the terrace through a full-height glass wall.
Nordic Cabin 201
A compact steel cabin with a double-height glass gable, open living and a full bath below, a sleeping loft above. One bedroom, one bath.
Nordic Cabin 202
The 201 cabin stretched ten feet: a ground-floor guest room and bath, a fireplace in the living room, and a loft primary suite with its own bath. Two bedrooms, two baths.
Nordic Cabin 202L
The 202 plan with a full loft level: a 172 SF open loft space joins the primary suite upstairs, for a studio, second living room, or extra beds.
Nordic Cabin 203
An A-frame in steel: 660 SF, a glass gable the full height of the roof, a spiral stair to the sleeping loft, and a footprint under 16 feet wide. Coming soon.
Blueprints included with every option
Each design comes with a complete blueprint set ready for permitting in Illinois. Building in another state? The same set is handed to an architect licensed in your state for review and stamp. We supply everything they need. Permit fees are not included in any option.
Love the concept but want changes?
Every design lives as a digital twin. Changes are made in the model first (a bigger primary closet, a basement, a mirrored plan for your lot) and the steel is manufactured to the new version. You see the exact result before a single part is cut.
A note on style: our collection is deliberately transitional and modern: clean lines, honest materials, generous glass. If your dream home is traditional or colonial, we're probably not your builder, and we say that with respect: great design deserves conviction.
